James Dodd (he/him) is the Chair and co-Director of Out Making Games. He spent five years on Ukie’s Diversity and Inclusion Committee, is a #RaiseTheGame pledge partner and a BAFTA Games voting member. By day, he is also a Partner at the global games, tech, media and entertainment executive search firm, Martin Tripp Associates. Here, he has led international recruitment projects for multiple clients around the world. His combined knowledge of leadership across multiple industries, together with his passion and understanding of the benefits of equality, diversity and inclusion, helps businesses push the needle and open doors to individuals and minorities who may have been overlooked in the past, ultimately benefitting all parties. In his spare time, James immerses himself in video games and regularly writes about the games and tech industries.

This year’s LGBTQ+ round table will tackle key issues LGBTQ+ professionals are facing in the ever-changing social and political landscape. The hosts will present a series of topics, which attendees will be free to openly discuss, sharing their thoughts, insights and experiences, in a safe and supportive environment. Attendees should leave with a better understanding of what others are or have experienced, steps they have taken to navigate these, the knowledge they are not alone in most instances, and tangible or actionable takeaways to facilitate a better working and social environment for all.
